Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Shopolo. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Shopolo ("we", "us", "our") is a software platform that provides independent businesses with tools for gift cards, loyalty programs, online ordering, appointment booking, table reservations, email campaigns, and customer relationship management. Shopolo is operated by Nanushi Inc.
We are a software provider only. We do not sell goods or services to end customers on behalf of merchants, and we do not hold or process funds. All payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. under their terms of service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to operate a business in your jurisdiction to create a Shopolo account. By using Shopolo, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share login credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account.
Shopolo offers paid subscription plans billed monthly. Pricing is listed at shopolo.app/#pricing. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
A 30-day free trial is available to new accounts. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial period, access requires an active paid subscription.
All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated. Taxes may apply depending on your location and are your responsibility.
In addition to the monthly subscription fee, Shopolo charges a platform fee on transactions processed through the platform (gift card sales, orders, bookings). The platform fee percentage depends on your plan and is disclosed on the pricing page.
Platform fees are deducted from merchant payouts via Stripe Connect. Stripe's own processing fees (2.9% + 30¢ per transaction) apply separately and are not set by Shopolo.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. To accept payments through Shopolo, you must create and maintain a Stripe Connect account and agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Connected Account Agreement.
Shopolo never holds, accesses, or controls your funds. Money from transactions flows directly to your connected Stripe account, minus applicable platform fees. We are not responsible for Stripe's decisions regarding your account, payouts, or disputes.
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on Shopolo, including business information, product listings, images, and customer data collected through your storefront.
By using the platform, you grant Shopolo a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service. We do not use your customer data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to collect and use your customers' data, and for complying with applicable privacy laws including CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and any other regulations applicable to your business.
You agree not to use Shopolo to:
• Sell illegal products or services • Violate any applicable law or regulation • Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) • Impersonate another person or business • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts • Interfere with the operation of the platform
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, non-payment, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease and your data may be deleted after 30 days.
Shopolo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
We are not responsible for any loss of revenue, data, or business resulting from platform downtime, bugs, or any other issue arising from your use of Shopolo.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shopolo's total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Shopolo in the 3 months preceding the claim.
In no event shall Shopolo be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of Shopolo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
